The Cold Pressed Oil Company uses the seed of the Palm Kernel fruit to make the oil. Palm oil has been credited with providing protection against heart disease.
 
Palm oil is thought to aid in the prevention of vitamin A deficiency, cancer, brain disease, aging; and treating malaria, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and cyanide poisoning. It is also used  for weight loss and increasing the body's metabolism.
